I thought that the battery powered battery charger was hilarious! Surely powering one battery would drain the other. But then again you could switch them around and charge that flat one again. I saw a very weird invention on a blog that i found called Steaming Piles (http://steamingpiles.blogspot.com/) You have got to see this.
